Oh, You Mad Cause I'm Stylin'?

Just wanted to let everyone know that -

I finally did it. I went on to www.GoDaddy.com and purchased my own domain www.brittsrunningstyle.com !!!

99 cents for a year! Who can beat that?

I'm glad I did it. However....

I was a little confused on how to get everything to work. It took me a couple hours to finally figure out where to put what codes. After I did it I realized that was a lot easier than I thought and it shouldn't have taken me that long.

I also used www.picmonkey.com to make a more eye-catching header. Like the laces I added on?

Later tonight I am going to put a post up about what I have going on this weekend.

That's it for my quick check in this morning! Thanks for stopping in :)

Have you purchased your own domain?

                                                               xoxo,

  8. 99cents??? I got ripped off then. :) I bought mine from Go Daddy in March and paid $14 a year. :)
Having your own domain is pretty sweet. Kinda like you own a little piece of the interwebs. :)
    Are you using wordpress?

    1. Oh! That stinks. :/ They must have just started the deal. I'm still using blogger. I had thought about switching to wordpress before I got my own domain, but I wasn't sure how complicated that would be so I just stayed with blogger.

  9. Good for you! Although I'm a little confused....if you are still using Blogger then why do you need you own domain. I guess I thought that if you had your own then you don't need to use a site, that the site would be your own. Again, just confused. I obviously don't own my own domain, I've thought about it, just not there yet.

    1. You have to have a host for your site and I just chose to stay with Blogger. So, having my own domain I get to have www.brittsrunningstyle.com, which I now own, instead of .blogspot.com. I could have had GoDaddy or another site host it, but I'm not ready to try and move my blog. Not sure how complicated that process is.. I'm still new to this! :)
