Aspiring to Inspire

I am now a sweat pink ambassador as you can see from the upper left corner of my blog! :)

I love that we can connect on so many social networks and use these companies to inspire and affect other people's lives.

In just a few short months I have gained a good group of followers on here, Twitter and Facebook.

Not only do I try to inspire and encourage through these sites, I use them to motivate myself.

I read a few (or a ton of) blog posts each morning or night and I am continually motivated to get out and be fit, sweat, feel the runners high, and be overcome with an excellent feeling of exhaustion.

I never feel more in the now than while I'm running, and I never feel more at my best than right after my run has ended.

In addition to being inspired to keep putting one foot in front of the other I have been shown that I need to branch out and cross-train to keep this body fit.

I have found a love for weight training and yoga, and I hope to be getting back into cycling soon.

(I think this is my very first post sans photos.)

Tell me what you have found a love for fitness-wise.

When do you feel your best?

                                                               xoxo,

  3. Yay! Congratulations! I have been a runner for a LONG time and I've never found any other sport/workout that will challenge me the way running does. This is not really fitness related, but health related, I have cut WAY back on my sugar intake and have found that I have SO much more energy so now my love is finding recipes that are sweet but don't contain so much SUGAR, only more natural sweeteners from fruits and such :)

    1. That is great. I have been working on the sugar thing too. But I still crave candy once in a while. But as for my everyday habits with adding sugar I have tried to switch to honey, agave nectar, pure maple syrup and using stevia. The stevia is definitely an acquired taste though.

    This community is amazing.

Fitness wise, I am really glad to have found running. I never thought I would enjoy it as much as I do. I feel my best after a consistent period of good runs.

  6. Totally agree on the running aspect...always at my best just post-run. I also cycle and swim, but it's running that does it for me!

  7. I think the most amazing thing for me has been that I have fallen in love with myself through running. I am not as hard on myself because I know how hard I am pushing and working.
I love my big strong thighs and my beaten and worn out feet because they have carried me so far.
The running bloggers community has been a place that I look forward to visiting every day. So many inspiring and fun people, and you're one of them!! :)

  8. I love the running community for sure! It makes me want to stick with running, even when I hate it lol! And I feel my best when I've accomplished something I didn't think I could do, particularly the longer runs I've been attempting lately. But any time I run and don't feel like I'm dying is good lol
