It was a nice smooth run at 8:30 pace. I had my kindle open to Hungry Runner Girl's blog and my nano plugged into the Nord (my treadmill's name - it's a boy).
After, I enjoyed a long hot shower and some indulgences:
March's cosmo and chocolate covered espresso beans. I can't eat more than a small handful of those though - they are super strong, not to mention it is 8p.m. (a little late for caffeine) and they leave an awful aftertaste.
Elijah is in bed and Chris is in the shower...we party so hard! Haha. Exciting life we lead here in the Chapin household! Wouldn't have it any other way though. :-)
What does your weekend entail?
Have you tried chocolate covered espresso beans?
What are your indulgences?
Long run this weekend?
Where did you get the choc. espresso beans? Are they sweet or on the bitter side?
ReplyDeleteI got them right at Hannaford in the natural food section. They were yummy, a little bitter aftertaste, which is good because it limits you to eating like 10 of them!
DeleteIndulgences? That's easy: froyo, peanut butter, chocolate, mint and pretzels.
ReplyDeleteWe are big chocolate covered coffee beans over in our house :D
Group is definitely at the top of my list too as well as anything that is mint & chocolate. Love Andes candies!
DeleteFroyo^ not group
DeleteHaHa, my husband ate way too many Trader Joe's chocolate covered espresso beans the first time he tried them and he was wired for hours! He learned a very valuable lesson that day! :-)
ReplyDeleteI bet! I've never had more than 10 at a time. I can only imagine the energy! Haha
